Each new year brings with it a new resolution. But then as Albert Einstein said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”
When was the last time you challenged yourself? Did something that scared you? Something that would make you come alive and make you a better person. As much as you would love to do it, you know it would always remain only a dream. Something that was meant to be done only by the demi-gods.
A 333 km run to be done in 72 hrs in Leh - Ladakh where temperatures could range from minus 12 degree C to 40 degree C, crossing three of the highest motor-able mountain passes at more than half the altitude at which jets fly at. An ultra marathon which was said to be impossible.
Mere mortals like yourself were just supposed to read about it or at best watch it from the sidelines.
Here is your chance to be part of this outrageous event called La Ultra - The High. A run in Leh - Ladakh where very high altitude, low oxygen content and out of this world beauty will literally take your breath away.
You need to put together a team of three that will run 111 km in a relay format where each runner will run about 20 km twice over. Yes, anyone is capable of doing it, but not everyone has the self belief to get to the start line. We'll offer generic training plan, or if you so desire, a customised training plan for you at an extra cost.
You will have learnings that simply can’t ever happen in controlled conditions sitting in the comfort of AC rooms. Words like Leadership, Camaraderie, Management, Teamwork, Commitment and Discipline will suddenly have a whole new meaning for you.
Don’t get me wrong, this run will test you like never before. You will find a new you. Someone who has always existed but even you didn’t know.
Come, find yourself!
