Kshitij asked me this question and I didn’t answer on WhatsApp because he already knew the short answer but wanted a big one.

Is soft landing a purely subjective assessment or can ground contact time give a glimpse to this?

Can one land hard and lift off soon enough to have a reduced ground contact time, or will the two invariably have some sort of relation?
High cadence automatically means soft landing or may not be so?
I know you will say this fixation with numbers is mindless, but I also know that you have an answer to this.
