I Love Mondays: Embrace the Next Generation of Careers

An H etched after my name! I love my South Indian friends.

Almost 2 years ago I had been approached by a lady called Mala Mary Martina who was a writing a book focused on encouraging the youth to take up New age Careers such as Music, Art, Design, Sports etc. with the aim of helping students to make Educational Career choices.

I was told that folks like Dr A. R Rahman, Benny Dayal, Kiran Dembla, Chaitanya Rao, Amish Tripathi, Niranjan Iyengar, Santosh Sivan, Sabu Cyril, Nandita Das et al would be fortunate enough to be featured along with me in the book. I was like, good for them, even though I don't like sharing the podium with anyone.

I had forgotten all about it except for Mala having been kind enough to send me the above caricature of mine. Courtesy my phenomenal memory, I had actually forgotten who had made it and where it came from. Yesterday I got a message that the book is finally out.

To be very honest, I am never working. It's simply fun for me. When something feels like work, I happily let go of it. More of that stuff is in the book.

Details about the book can be found at www.ilovemondays.in

and H is etched out :)
