+ What is Nuke-Lee-Us?

Nuke-Lee-Us is an easy weekly progressive exercise program. It can be done by anyone, anywhere. It will get very slightly so tougher every week. By the end of the year you’ll be surprised by not only your physical but psychological gains too. All journeys in life start with a single step, even the toughest ones. It’s about having the guts to get started.

+ What does the name 'nucleus' mean?

Cell is the basic unit of life, some living organisms have only one cell and others like human beings have trillions of them. Each cell has it’s own nucleus. We can loosely say that ‘nucleus’ is the central governor of every cell. Our intent is to make this movement a national movement to make all Indian citizens active because most of us are not, more so the kids.

+ Why spell ‘nucleus’ the way you do?

‘Nuke’ refers to nuclear energy. It is extremely powerful even though it is inside a very small unit such as an atom. We all have immense amount of energy inside us not matter what size we are and what the society thinks about us. It about getting moving.

‘Lee’ comes from Bruce Lee, who is regarded as the greatest martial arts expert and philosopher of life too. He once said, ‘I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.’ When these simple exercises are done over 10,000 times over the year, probably even more than 11,111 times, you would have become phenomenally good.

‘Us’ refers to the strength that unity brings, whether it be all the fingers of the hand coming together to form a fist or family exercising together. For this movement that at the moment seems impossible, to get the desired results, we all need to work together.

+ How to get started?

You can join any time. Simply start following weekly plans from week one onwards no matter which week has the program reached to.

+ How to progress with exercises from week to week?

Once you are comfortable with a certain exercise, you are sure about your form and it is not hurting, it is time to move on to the next week’s plan. If that exercise is too easy for you, rather than shifting to next week’s plan, increase the number of repetitions. Only after you have done the exercise at least for a week should you move to the next level of that exercise.

+ What if there is pain?

If a certain exercise hurts, it basically means you are not ready for it yet. Please don’t push it. Go back to the earlier level and first get comfortable with that before progressing in further. Please consult with an active doctor if there is pain.

+ Who all can do this exercise program?

This program can actually be done by almost anyone no matter how unfit you think you are. We will start with very basic movements and gradually increase the intensity over weeks. Just increase the intensity slowly, but do remember that you’ll only get better when the intensity is increased.

+ How much will it cost?

Nuke-Lee-Us is absolutely free.

+ How long will it last?

The current program is intended to last till the end of 2018. But soon enough 8 will become ∞ (infinity).

+ Can I do it on my own?

That’s the whole idea. Get started by just moving because most of us don’t even do that enough. Once you are comfortable with the exercises, you then need to think about your form.

+ Is it ok to share it with others?

Absolutely. If you want to become good at something, you need to start teaching that to others. Become a mentor to them. This will inspire you to be disciplined and exercise regularly.
