Here is a run that is truly character building. It is short, it is sweet. Only 10.333km running distance, but with 1,057m altitude gain. Easy peasy 3 hrs being the cut-off time.

Start is from that tree next to Duster. In British times, this was the toll point where toll was based on the mode of transport, mule to elephant.

It's an ancient board but we'll be happy to charge you a registration fee if you are late.

This isn't a race against anyone else at all, it's a race against your own self. Give yourself a Platinum, if you run under 1hr 30 min, a Gold for under 1hr 45min, Silver for sub 2hrs and Bronze for sub 3hrs.

Simple advice, start slower than you think is comfortable. You'll want to hug me for this tip at the end of your run.

It is a self-supported run with minimal aid, if at all. All you need to get is a water bottle or two, some money for yourself and a phone to let your loved ones know where on Earth are you. You will have to figure your own transport back from the finish line.

It'll be an understatement to say that this run is a bit uphill.

It is for everyone. You could simply trek it. There will be a lot of nay-sayers, like in life. Tell them to go to my favourite place, Hell. Or even better, get them with you. We together will show them what Heaven is all about.

Don't forget to get your camera. Trust me you'll have enough time to take some amazing shots.
