La Ultra - The High (www.thehigh.in) is the cruelest & highest altitude ultra marathon out there. It's held in Leh-Ladakh region in the Indian Himalayas. A total distance of 333 km have to be covered on foot in a time period of 72 hours, crossing three of the highest mountain passes all above 17,400 ft.
