Full Marathon Training Plan: Week 17
I am of a firm opinion that anyone who is able bodied and is remotely fit, is capable of running a full marathon in under 4 hrs, of course with appropriate training. 85 year old Ed Whitlock recently did the distance in 3hrs 56min 39sec.
Be Selfish, Save Everyone
I agree with the statement but I don’t think it’s demeaning at all. If there was no ‘i’, there would be no ‘A-hole’. A lot of crap would be coming through the wrong orifice, which is a very common occurrence in today's self-righteous world. It’s a tough job for that ‘i’ person who sticks out and does all the dirty job for others.
Stretching HAMSTRINGS the right way
Most people think they are stretching their hamstrings when they have their legs up at a higher platform and are trying to touch their toes or some such thing. They do it only because the guy or gal next to them is doing the same. Stop copy. Think logically. That stretch is excellent at causing pain in the back and down the leg that you didn't have before.
